Great service and food!

I went here once and will not be returning again. It took them around 30 minutes to make my milkshake and it tasted like chocolate milk and that's the least of it. The appetizers that we ordered were the fried mushrooms which were overcooked and the garlic cheese bread was both soggy and chewy and tasted of purely garlic and nothing else. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger for my entree and the bacon was cold and tough and the bun was very dry. Everything was also very overpriced and the service was alright. My grandmother said she used to eat her and she said she really liked it but something has most certainly changed... And not for the better.

First off the table was dirty when we sat down and we had to ask for it to be wiped off and it wasn't busy at all there was only 6 other people in the restaurant. Then I went to order the homemade meatloaf and the owner who was waiting on us said if I was you I wouldn't order my meatloaf if it's that bad why is it on the menu? So I ordered sirloin chop steak it was bland and tasteless. The service was so very slow and we had to order our order multiple times before they got it straight. A couple who came in after us were waited on and served before us they must have been regulars. It was a terrible experience and I won't be going back for dinner. We were a party of four and no one's dinner had any flavor to it never again.

I am not sure why it calls itself a family restaurant. I showed up with my 2 kids and the waitress was rude. I asked to get something to go because I didn't want to bother anyone there, the atmosphere was quiet and cold so I wanted to take it to the park. I got charged 3.50$ for a super small side of fries to go. I left a good tip since my kids had played with the cutlery while waiting, and still got a cold stare and the waitress walking away visibly annoyed to have to set the table again. Family dinner with not even one smile is not a place where you want to take your family to.

We were in from out of town after a long drive and we found this absolute gem! The place was super clean, the staff was really friendly, and the food was phenomenal! The prices are affordable as well.

The chili is the best for many miles around. The pies are fresh made in house, and the stock menu items are always well prepared. The food is good, the chili is great, and the pie is fantastic.They are sometimes a victim of their own success, as the wait staff has trouble keeping up with busy nights.Good food, clean, quiet atmosphere, easy parking. A local favorite, particularly with an older, more gentle set.

The food here is pretty good, definitely diner food. Tables are sticky, atmosphere is blah. Don't try to make changes to things on the menu, the kitchen will make it how the menu says regardless of what you ask. Get the cinnamon roll pancakes, they are awesome.

Real good food down to earth people very family oriented

Maria's has become a family restaurant where her family serves your family. This might be the only good place for breakfast north of Bridge Street, south of Lake Ontario. Locals from all kinds of stories on Sunday morning, the parishioners from church to a running team after the race to a family taking a newborn out to breakfast for the first time. Breakfast arrives with all kinds of extras, real butter, a hot cake on the side and grilled raisin toast moist and sliced thick. The philosophy behind the restaurant comes from Italy, but the menu is American family restaurant fare. And the house loves the New York Yankees ...

I have been to Maria's many times. I have tried most of the menu items and have never had a bad meal. The wait staff are great - friendly, personable and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for any type of meal.

Delicious cinnamon rolls pancakes! Terrific service!

Maria's is my go to place. Love the homestyle food. They have great rice and bread pudding for desert. Just had cherry pie from there AWESOME!!!I'm adding this on four months later. I still love Maria's food and desserts. BUT: I have to say the last 2 times my sister and I habe ordered bread or rice pudding their serving size has shrunk to 1/2 the size!!!! For that I am changing to only 4 stars. I did have 5.

Very friendly good food

This was my second visit to Maria's Family Restaurant this summer. In addition to fast and friendly service there is a public parking area next to the restaurant. This makes getting in to enjoy their Cinnamon Bun pancakes that much easier. The staff makes you feel like a regular even if it is your first time visiting. I will definitely be back!

A nice family style restaurant.

I was here with a few friends after our zumba class so we were STARVING. This food was AMAZING. I LOVE this place and wish I knew about it sooner. Their food was to die for, no lie. The cinnamon swirl toast ...MMMM. I had dinner and my friends had breakfast, all of us fully enjoyed everything and the service was extremely friendly.

Great menu wth lots of options to choose. Prices are favorable. The staff is friendly, fast and efficient. With a smile on their face. I love the place.

I was disappointed. We waited 20 minutes for our food. The pancake or hot cake as they called it was dry and not butter or syrup could save it. French toast were eggy and undercooked, the coffee horrible and homefries were not! Surely a lacking breakfast! But never again.
